I'm here with another Manicure Monday post. So last week, i paid a visit to my favourite manicurist, Afia of Nice Nails and all i requested for was some bling. Remember my lilac stilettos nail post? Well its the same set of nails still going strong for 8 weeks now with just re-fills. No breakage or cracks whatsoever. By the way Afia says its a sin to keep the nails for such a long time, lol! But she does them so well.

Happy new week everyone!!!!! It's Monday and i'm being inspired to share this quick post on my mani. I recently got my nails done at the Kisseman branch of Nice Nails and thought to share. I've never been a fan of white tips, argh! I think they sometimes look harsh against certain skin tones. So i opted for these lilac colored tips which looks soft and easy going on the eyes.

So many people get it wrong easily and end up with halo brows, nike brows, scouse brows, brows on flock, etc, NO you don't want that! September happens to be Sickle Cell awareness month and also my birth month, yayyyy!!!! I noticed this tag going round on instagram and when i got tagged by the lovely +Aretha Yorke to participate in this challenge i thought why not? This challenge is basically to raise the awareness for sickle cell whiles sporting bold lips. This is a challenge right up in my alley; better (in my opinion) than pouring cold water over my body. I have decided to do this challenge weekly for the entire month of September. I normally never wear anything bold so why not challenge myself and also share a couple of looks with you. I will also be giving you some little info each time about sickle cell.
I am also sharing my current protective hairstyle which is a pixie wig cap i got done at First Choice. Something about getting a short do that makes you feel sexy????? Love it!!!!!!!

I seem to have gotten my blogging mojo. So this post is an update review on the Forever Clair, FC from here on, range of skincare products i got some time back. These are the FC Blemish Control Soap (reviewed here), FC Blemish Control Toner (reviewed here) and the FC Multifruit Cream. I have reviewed all of these except for the Multifruit Cream because i keep on postponing it. Will do the post later i promise.

So i decided to come up with my 7 beauty commandments which is basically a Do's and Don'ts with tips here and there. Initially wanted to do 10, like The Ten Commandments in the bible but couldn't find three more, lol! So why not 7? The number of perfection and completion? I hope you find it helpful. So from the title you can guess this is a haul post. I recently used up my trusty deep conditioner and needed to re-purchase and so off i went to Juben after close of work on a weekday. I love that i can get items there even after close of work as they close at 7pm and not at 5pm unlike most beauty supply stores. This beauty supply store is a beauty haven. I really love browsing through the aisles of this shop because they have a variety of items. *sighs* Okay back to the post!

So the main reason why i went there this time was to replenish my hair care stock and more especially try out some other products from the Creme of Nature (CON) Argan Oil range. I wanted to try out the CON Moisture and Shine Shampoo (sulphate free), CON Perfect 7 Leave-In Treatment and the CON Foaming Wrap Lotion. Unfortunately the shampoo had run out, meh! So here are the products i got instead among other beauty items.
