As i have recently bc'ed, i have been searching for products to help with the styling of my TWA teeeeny weeeeny afro lol its not even there yet. Anyways, i was fortunate to have received samples from the new Organic Root Stimulator line "Curls Unleashed".

The new Curls Unleashed line caters specifically to ladies with naturally curly, coily or kinky hair. It consists of products that you would need for a healthy hair regime; shampoo, conditioner, leave-in and styling products. The good thing about these products is that they do not contain parabens and are sulphate free.

So i received samples of two products: the Curls Unleashed Take Command Curl Defining Creme and Set It Off Curl Boosting Jelly. The curl boosting jelly is jelly-like and the curl defining creme feels like a mixture of gel and cream, a jelly cream but quite moisturizing as well.

Hello Naturalistas,

So i finally did the big chop. Yesssss!!!!! its been 3 weeks since i did and i love it. Honestly i even forget i have short hair until someone comments or when i catch myself in the mirror or window, lol. Guess at the end of the day its still me and its just hair, i define my hair, it doesn't define me.

So my big chop experience: i must say i was just ready to get on with it and kinda eager. So yh, i was super excited. No tears, just laughter. I am really happy with my new look, takes me back to my secondary school days where we had to cut our hair for boarding school.

So i got positive feedback and well no negative just neutral feedback as well. Esp from the BF. lol He really couldn't be bothered about it and am sure he'd prefer me with long hair, oh well its gone now, hahahahaha!

So just enjoy the video i posted on youtube and in another post i'll talk about how i am taking care of it.

Yayyyyyyy!!!!!! So finally the day i felt ready to let go of my relaxed hair came. Yes i am soooo excited. Could not hold the excitement any longer. I went to the barber with my dear friend, Chris, for support, lol as if i needed it. Although in my head i knew what sort of style i wanted, faded side and a punk, I still couldn't picture that style on my face and how i was going to look. So that's what i was nervous about, as to whether or not the barber was going to do a good job of making me look good. The Verdict:

I should be writing my dissertation right now but i couldn't help share with you divas about my re-kindled love for natural hair. I got obsessed with it when i first got exposed to watching YouTube videos. I was searching for ways to battle my hair breakage situation when i came across black beauties with amazing tresses. Wow, so natural hair was this beautiful, long and not nasty looking at all?

Hence my decision to transition as i didn't want to cut off my hair completely. Fail! I couldn't deal with the two different textures and i ended up relaxing it. :-( I guess i didn't know much about taking care of my hair then. So after much research i began taking better care of my relaxed hair. The breakage has minimized and now i'd call it shedding.

I have been bitten again by the natural hair bug, i am infested, can't seem to get it out of my mind. I wish to be freed off my relaxer forever. Sounds cliche i know but that's how i feel. Cant wait to see my gorgeous curls and coils after my BC (big chop). Go #teamnatural

So i have been meaning to start posting some videos on Youtube and i finally got the confidence to do so. Lol! Also had to stop laughing for a while but it's quite funny and you can actually see laughter filling my cheeks in the video. But, i'd say i had fun filming and it is interesting to see and know the sort of effort and time some youtubers put in their videos. Well, we'll see how it goes.

So i decided to post a video on the eyebrow pictorial as some readers thought the process complex but after demonstrating it, they wouldn't think so. i have so many ideas on what to film but i just don't know how am going to go about it.
