Zaron Ghana Launch
December 02, 2013
Hello beauties,
So this past weekend saw us at the Zaron Makeup Ghana Launch at their newly opened shop at Dzorwulu opp Van-J Eye Care Ltd Next to the Sid Theatre. Zaron Makeup is a nigerian owned makeup brand launching in Ghana by Maadee Darko Mensah, Head Makeup Artist of Luxe D'visage Hair and Makeup. I had been seeing my fellow nigerian makeup artists use products from this brand as well as reading some positive reviews for some of their products. So i was very excited to learn that it was going to be launched in Ghana as well. Then i got called up to be a makeup artist for the launch. Yayyyy! That meant i could have better access to the products. Niiiiiiice!
Early sunday morning saw myself and a few of Ghana's talented makeup artists backstage getting ready and prepping up models and ushers. The whole makeup environment was very exciting. We were given the opportunity to use their products on ourselves just to have a feel of it. But of course! why not? lol! I met some new faces but some other Makeup artists i had met before and knew.

After we finished doing our makeup i proceeded to the store and shop to see what was being done. I must say i was impressed with the layout of the store. Very well lit and up to international standards. The red and white combo made the store very welcoming. Kudos to the Zaron team, i was very impressed.
Yes i was feeling myself, can you tell? lol! |
Although the programme began at a late start, typical GMT (Ghana Man Time), i believe it was successful overall with lots of ladies in attendance. I was too busy to fully capture all that during the programme. We had the beautiful Jocelyn Dumas as MC, star struck! There was loads of cocktails and bites and lovely music. Imagine me working and bobbing at the same time to alkaida azonto etc. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
