Hey loves, i'm really excited to bring you this review. Evita Joseph Beauty, an award winning & upcoming Ghanaian beauty brand, recently came out with liquid matte lipsticks. How exciting! Liquid lipsticks are trending right now for various reasons. I was fortunate to receive 3 lipsticks and here's my honest review on them.Well i loved them so much i went ahead to get 3 more. YUP!

Evita Joseph LipTended Liquid Lipsticks

Let's look at the sleek packaging, frosted matte finish which allows you to see the colour of the lipstick. Oh my! the fruity vanilla scent that hits you when you twist open the lipstick, delicious!!!!!!

LipTended like most liquid lipsticks starts off as lipgloss and dries to a dry, matte finish. Unlike most liquid lipsticks, LipTended dries to a soft matte finish that isn't overly drying on the lips. I find these to be one of the most comfortable liquid lipsticks that i have tried and i have tried many.

Liptended comes in a whooping 11 shades very complimentary on a range of deep skin tones. I love how the names of the shade reflect a town or depicts a tribe in Ghana. I must say that the names are very catchy. I got the shades Dixcove, Zabzugu, Legon, Birimian Rocks and Ada.

Dixcove! Of course that had to be my favourite. It's a bright purple with blue undertones not for the fainthearted. It can be mixed with other shades to create different colours.

Birimian Rocks is a blue toned red that leans pink and is also slightly metallic. This shade reminds me of MAC's D for Danger. Gorgeous shade!

Ada is a deep plum pink also slightly metallic and absolutely gorgeous on dark skin.

Legon is a warm bubblegum pink, very wearable but needs a liner around the lips to blend with the lipstick.

Labone, a mauve tone nude brown that looks absolutely gorgeous, is a perfect nude on dark skin.

My Verdict:
LipTended applies smoothly on the lips and does not dry instantly which gives you time to blend. It is also highly pigmented and one swipe is enough to cover the lips. There was no streaking or tugging on the lips. It also wore well on the lips without cracking and lasted very long too.

I absolutely love these liquid lipsticks and looking forward to getting other shades that i'm eyeing like No. 9, a vibrant tomato red that is just beautiful. I'll recommend these to everyone as they are not overly drying on the lips, long wearing and above all it's a Ghanaian brand.
