Hello Naturalistas,
So i have recently gotten the vibe of wearing my natural hair out into my system. I feel like its high time I fully embraced it esp the short length.

Ok confession time
For sometime now i haven't been taking very good care of my hair. Well......... I was taking care of it but not fully committed. What peeved me was the fact that is was shedding more than what i considered normal. This was the main reason why i switched from relaxed to natural but was still experiencing the same shedding wahala. So to prevent me from seeing coils of hair lying about my room i always opted for protective styling to prevent me from dealing with it. But after thinking thoroughly i realized that probably i was not detangling properly to remove all the shed hair esp after taking out the protective style. After taking the time to properly detangle my hair during the last wash, i can proudly say i saw little shedding during my wash session. Anyways to cut the long story short i have decided to go on a ban on long term protective styling esp on weaves and braids. I will wear wigs for days when i need my hair to set or i am having a bit of a challenge.

Today i'm here to rave about another product i'm loving currently. There are certain days when you cannot be bothered with lipstick and just want a slight touch of colour to your lips. You want to have that sexy, yet subtle pout that says ''kiss me'' "kiss me", then go in for a lip gloss. Now, the issues with most lip glosses I find are that they are not pigmented enough, too sticky, non moisturizing and gives the ghastly white line on the lips. Argh! I have found, in my opinion, the perfect lip gloss, ELF Studio Glossy Gloss from the ELF Studio line.

It's been a min since I last did a product review. I seem to have gotten my mojo back and realised there are some few products I have been using and will like to share my thoughts on them. So be on the lookout for some product reviews.

When I began freelancing as a make up artist, I was on the lookout for a brand with a range of products catering specifically to women of colour and wasn't pocket draining as well. I knew that Sleek Makeup has a good range but knowing Ghanaians' attitude to this particular brand I wasn't prepared to purchase it. Although Sleek Makeup is a UK brand catering for women of colour and can boast of having in its collection a wide range of foundations and powders suitable for all skin tones and shades more especially darker skin tones, Ghanaians have a funny attitude to disregard and discredit products that are readily to them and prefer brands that are expensive, international and difficult to attain. In short, i didn't want to be in the position to be disregarded by a client so i went on the hunt for an international brand.
