Bold Lips for Sickle Cell Challenge 1

Hello Beauties,
September happens to be Sickle Cell awareness month and also my birth month, yayyyy!!!! I noticed this tag going round on instagram and when i got tagged by the lovely +Aretha Yorke to participate in this challenge i thought why not? This challenge is basically to raise the awareness for sickle cell whiles sporting bold lips. This is a challenge right up in my alley; better (in my opinion) than pouring cold water over my body. I have decided to do this challenge weekly for the entire month of September. I normally never wear anything bold so why not challenge myself and also share a couple of looks with you. I will also be giving you some little info each time about sickle cell.
I am also sharing my current protective hairstyle which is a pixie wig cap i got done at First Choice. Something about getting a short do that makes you feel sexy????? Love it!!!!!!!

instagram page that they had in stock the ELF Poreless Face Primer. How excited
I was because I had seen this new release from ELF on their website and I was curious to try it as I
already use their mineral infused face primer which is a staple in my makeup
kit. I immediately ordered one and had it with me the following day.
EJbeautstore also does special orders on other items on behalf of makeup
artists or anyone who requests them specially. She announced this and I thought
to place an order for a few MAC items and the Prep + Prime Line filler was
one of them.

Hello everyone,
I hope this post finds you well. Sometime back i received some products from Dark and Lovely Ghana from their Braids n Weaves line which i posted about here but have been unable to bring the review due to preparations for AFROTASTIC 2014 and also technical challenges. Initially I had wanted to do a video review and demo unfortunately during editing i mistakenly deleted the footage smh! I wanted to redo a video demo but i haven't worn braids or weave in a while and while i don't intend to for some time, i thought i will just do the review here and let everyone benefit from it rather than waiting for the demo. So after i began typing the review i realized i had a ton to say about these products and that putting them in one post will make this post super super long. I have become talkative papa! So i'm going to divide this post into 2 parts. I will do a review of 2 products and the next 2 in another post to announce the giveaway winners. Oh yes there is a giveaway so read on to find out how you can win an entire set for yourself.
