Hi beauties, so the internet is currently buzzing with the just ended Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards, AMVCA 2017, which was held in lagos at the Eko Hotel. The amount of slayage on the red carpet was just sinful and disrespectful. I don't know about you but...... i'm still trying to recover! No one went to joke oh! From the clothes to shoes, hairstyles and makeup... they went in haaaaarrd!!!

Makeup Looks on the Red Carpet at AMVCA 2017

I couldn't help but snap out of my blogging hiatus to share these with you. These are closeups of a few of my favourite makeup looks as well hairstyles and i hunted down the MUAs and hairstylists behind the looks as well. Few beauty trends worth mentioning are:

• dewy, glowing skin and body as opposed to matte achieved by using highlighters
• bronzed, warmed up face as opposed to sharp, harsh contours 
• nude looks as opposed to smokey looks
• glittery eyes
• glam, bold, wispy lashes 
• bold, dark, vampy, matte lips achieved with liquid lipsticks
• natural looking brows as opposed to dark, overly drawn on or overly highlighted brows
• natural hair styles

Hello everybody,
I'm here with another Manicure Monday post. So last week, i paid a visit to my favourite manicurist, Afia of Nice Nails and all i requested for was some bling. Remember my lilac stilettos nail post? Well its the same set of nails still going strong for 8 weeks now with just re-fills. No breakage or cracks whatsoever. By the way Afia says its a sin to keep the nails for such a long time, lol! But she does them so well.

Happy new week everyone!!!!! It's Monday and i'm being inspired to share this quick post on my mani. I recently got my nails done at the Kisseman branch of Nice Nails and thought to share. I've never been a fan of white tips, argh! I think they sometimes look harsh against certain skin tones. So i opted for these lilac colored tips which looks soft and easy going on the eyes.
