It’s been a min. I hope everyone is doing great. Following my last post on AFROTASTIC 2014, I wanted to share with you very quickly the only purchase I happened to make at the event. Unfortunately I didn’t have the time to shop around and missed on some items, sad life of an organizer but good thing is I know where to get them so I would do so later. 

Anyways I am very excited about this line of products and I will tell you why in a bit. So during the placement of adverts seeking for vendors and sponsors one of my dear friends Rinene, from Nigeria who happened to be my classmate from Tech, contacted me to ask me about the event. I initially thought she had wanted to create a blogpost but it turned out that she had wanted to participate as a vendor. Imagine my surprise when she told me she had started her own range of products and was willing to come all the way from Nigeria to showcase her stuff. I was intrigued. 

So on the Afrotastic day, she came with her entourage who, I must say, meant business. I mean, not to throw shade on the other vendors but these ladies impressed me. They came prepared and their branding materials were on point. They stood out in their yellow tees and green downs plus their pull up banner and catchy gift bags, I loved it! They were well put together and I appreciated that. More so I learnt that this was their first major natural hair event and so I was even more impressed at how well they were able to organize themselves in a country other than theirs.

I managed to grab a couple of their products to try out and what captivated me was the wonderful smells. Oh gosh! They smell heavenly and soooo yummy! If you are big on smells this right here is your stuff! Here are the products I got:

 I must say briefly here that these products are absolutely natural hence does not contain mineral oil, petrolatum, silicones and parabens. The shampoo is sulphate free and the hair butter is just luxe. I will do a full review in a few weeks time when I have used the products well enough to give an honest opinion on them.
