So its been a min since i last wrote a blog post. The wedding season has began and its super crazy during the weekends for me as a makeup artist and also as a guest. Anyways so since my last hair post, my hair is back in a protective style. Yes i remember i said i wasn't going to do any long term protective styles but because i knew i had a tight schedule which wont permit me to have the necessary time for my hair, i opted for it.

Here is just another long overdue blogpost that has been sitting in draft for God knows how long! smh! Anyways here is it now.
On the 28th of December last year, Twists n Locs Salon in collaboration with the The Body Butter Company, organized a programme dubbed "The Natural Bazaar" at the W.E. DuBois Memorial Centre in Cantoments. This was a programme showcasing vendors of natural hair and body products and made in Ghana goods. It started around 2pm and unfortunately i missed all that part and got there around 6. Very late! The programme was to have a second part which was the natural hair meetup but unfortunately it didn't come off as no one stayed for it. I was to have given a talk during one of the sessions on my experience as a naturalista so far. I was disappointed it didnt come off as i had been looking forward to this since the organizers contacted me in the UK. Anyways since i was late i could not fully capture the stands outside as they were packing but managed to catch a few indoors.
Please do well to enjoy the pics of the few vendors i could capture. Also feel free to ask me any questions concerning them.

Can you believe the numerous posts i have sitting in draft?! Feels weird to be blogging again and feels like i need to try to find my way around it again.
I was tagged by Jocel of BeautywithJocel and had the honour of being awarded the Liebster Award. This award is given to bloggers with less than 200 followers to recognize them and their hardwork. So i really do not like to do tags simply because i'm lazy however i do love reading them! So this year i promise to do my best to answer when i've been tagged.

1.What's your favourite hairstyle? To be honest i don't have one, i'm always doing something different with my hair but i think a ponytail would do for me, i like how the hair slicked back shows off the face
2. What's your hair length? Hurmph! Its been a while since i last saw my hair so i think it would be neck length (protective styling atm, yes a weave!)
3. Which do you prefer? Denman brush or fingers for detangling Denman! but sometimes finger detangling if taking off a weave or braids
4. Puff or bun? Bun, tried the puff, too much tangling and not worth it!
5.What's your hair goal? Long, big, huge, healthy hair
6. Which do you prefer? Vlogging or blogging Hmmmmmmmm i dunno really both require an amount of work but i'd say blogging because i like to read
7. What's your best hair moment? When i big chopped! I felt good that i had done something most women feared to do and i believe i pulled it off.

Anyways i should have blogged about them earlier during my blogging hiatus but oh well! here they are. Too bad i cannot fully remember the exact products i used for each and every picture, sighs! So i happen to be back home in the motherland, Ghana, and where else than to get your hair done very well and for less. I had been eyeing loose braids for some time now and opted for that. I used 3 packs of New Golden's Expression kanekalon braiding hair in colour 2 and colour violet. It took about 3 and half hours to get them done which i believe is relatively quick. Even tho the weather is hot i still choose to get super long braids. Long hair don't care! lol! Anyways for more deets on the makeup check here.
